POLICIES

Basic Program Policies

We believe that the following information will clarify our basic business policies and help to develop a relationship that is based on a reciprocation of responsibility. Our commitment to serving you runs deep!

Training session length

Strength Fitness exercise is designed to be brief, infrequent, and intense. Each personal training session is based on either 15, 30, or 45-minute appointments. Solo access training sessions are offered on a self-supervised basis during limited business hours when your personal training frequency is maintained at a minimum of 1 session/month.

Trainer/client ratio

Individual (one-on-one) training is our standard service.  You will be assigned a personal coach that will give you specialized attention and focus during each training session.  Often, you and your trainer will be the only people in the training area, but at times there may be one or two other trainer(s) and client(s).  The number of  Solo Access training memberships will be limited to ensure an uncrowded exercise environment.

Promptness

To get the most out of your time and efforts, please arrive at the studio approximately 5-10 minutes prior to your appointed training time, ready to exercise promptly. Because clients are usually scheduled before and after you, or your trainer may have scheduled a meeting or personal development time immediately after your session, workout times cannot be extended.  As a result, late arrivals may result in a full or partial loss of your sessions duration.

If a trainer is late for your session—late is defined as 7 minutes after your scheduled starting time—the training session will be extended if possible, and regardless, you will be credited with 1 complimentary workout.  The success of our program is based on efficiency, so an “on-time” schedule is essential.  We want your commitment and you have ours!

Charges, Cancellations, and No-shows

Your account will be charged for: completion,  no-show (no notice or attendance), or late cancellation (less than 8 hours) of a scheduled session.  You will not be charged for sessions that you cancel with more than 8 hours notice.  You are allowed one “no penalty” late cancellation per every month that will cover you for most unexpected circumstances beyond your control.

The full session fee will be charged to clients who cancel with less than 8 hours notice, or if late cancellations exceed one per month.  Excessive cancellation, regardless of notice time and resultant payment, will be discussed between the client and trainer.  Your program will not be successful—obviously, even if you pay for missed sessions—if your attendance is not consistent.  We want the best for you and want to earn the money you invest toward your health.

If a trainer “no-shows” for a session with you, regardless of his or her reason, a sincere apology will be forthcoming immediately.  Although crises do occur, even for a trainer whom you may consider above reproach, we believe that missing sessions is not acceptable.  We respect and value your time commitment too much.  The missed session—if you were not provided with at least 8-hour notice—will immediatley be rescheduled at your convenience, with no charge.  Additionally, you will be credited with 2 complimentary sessions at our expense.  We don’t take our commitment and service to you lightly!

Rescheduling Appointments

If you would like to reschedule an appointment with less than 8 hours notice, Strength Fitness and its trainers will do their best to accommodate your request.  Although we check for messages regularly, our trainers are booked well in advance and often consecutively.  Our professionals also have obligations that include attending scheduled meetings and reserving self-development time.  If we cannot accommodate your request and the request comes in with less than 8-hour lead time, you will be charged for the scheduled appointment.

If a trainer must reschedule or cancel an appointment with you, and does so with less than 8 hours notice, the scheduled session will immediately be rescheduled at your convenience, with no charge.  Additionally, you will be credited with 1 complimentary session at our expense.  Responsibility is a two-way street.

Payment For Services

Pre-payment in full is required for all Strength Fitness services.  We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, American Express, personal checks, and cash as payment.  When training fees are overdue by 2 sessions or more, it is our policy to suspend training services until payment is received.  Prompt payment of your training fee, or fees related to other services rendered, saves us administrative costs and time, which allows us to better meet your health and fitness goals.

All training sessions are guaranteed 100 percent, unconditionally.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with your training session, let your trainer know immediately and your session fee for that day will be refunded.  We appreciate your positive criticism and the chance to correct any problems and improve our service to you.  We believe that our service is well worth your investment and want you to always have that same satisfaction and opinion of Strength Fitness.

Referrals

We realize that your recommendation of our services to your family and friends represents our greatest source of new clients.  In appreciation of your referrals, your account will be credited for 2 sessions for each new client who becomes a Strength Fitness client due to your endorsement.

Partnering

Partnering is a unique concept we use at Strength Fitness to ensure a well-rounded and consistent service for you.  This training concept has your best interest at heart.  Although you will develop a relationship with a “primary” trainer, and this trainer will train you the majority of the time, one or two other trainers should become familiar with your program and personality.  Creating dependence on one trainer sets you up for potential failure.

From time to time, trainers will leave our facility for a variety of reasons; others will take time for vacation or become injured or ill.  Any of these scenarios could interrupt your program.  That is why we encourage alternative client/trainer partnerships.  You’ll help us choose at least one, if not two other trainers with whom you think you might be comfortable training.

Periodically, you’ll have the opportunity to train with another “partner.”  These relationships need to be developed before a bump occurs in the road of progress.  In the event your primary trainer is not available for a short period of time or, for example, the trainer moves to another state, your interests are covered and your program will not be interrupted.  Our trainers and clients generally embrace this concept.  It provides the trainer with a guilt-free change of scenery (Yes, even your trainer needs a vacation!) and you—our prized client—get new perspective and expertise from other Strength Fitness training pros.
